The 2010 first overall draft pick, Sam Bradford, has already made an impact on the St. Louis Rams. The rookie quarterback set an NFL contract record with a $50 million guarantee. The total contract is worth $78 million over a six year period. The guaranteed amount is a record high for both rookies and veterans.
The former Oklahoma Sooners QB will most likely be starting for the Rams, especially after the amount of money that the club has put into him. The city of St. Louis is especially excited about the young standout; last year the Rams finished dead last in the NFL, winning only one out of their sixteen games.
